Tuna Pitch - chromatic tuner App Reviews

Great program!

Very happy - works well to measure amplitude during vocal rehab sessions. Even pulls in overtones, tho probably not reliably.

Perfect!

Super sensitive and works quite well for ukulele

Stopped working

After last update it asks for a microphone to be plugged in order to use it. Wont work otherwise. Also too sensitive to be useful when it does work. Cant ever get it to be spot on as someone else said

Im so disappointed that I bought this. I wasted $3 For this. its not accurate at all! Not worth it! I shouldve bought something else!

:(

Stinks, it need a trumpet tuner, otherwise its ok, but I only have a trumpet, Waste if money

Great pun, great app , worth the $$$

I bought this app because (sorry, Charley) the free tuners were terrible and i figured that anyone corny enough to call his app "tuna pitch" must either be very creative or very full of mercury in his brain. Gamble paid off. Buy this one, stop here and delete the free tuner apps.

Boo!

I loved this tuner for my ukulele and totally thought it was worth the $3. BUT the update now requires that you plug in a microphone which is beyond silly. If Im playing at the beach, park, friends house Im not toting around a mic with me. Uninstall.

Not enough note range

This does not have enough note range to be useful. It does not work for voice.

Tuna pitch logic circuits are defective

Youd think with all the extra features the accuracy of the actual tuner would be exceptional, but its slow To respond and wanders excessively, whereas my Korg or other general purpose tuners never waiver...

Tuner is consistently inaccurate

I have nine tuning forks comprising four different pitches. Some are pitch duplicates, e.g., five are A-440. All are high quality English or German made. My room temperature is consistent with the design standard for the forks, 20 degrees C. They are accurate, but this tuner app consistently reports that they are all about 0.3 hertz sharp. So the 440 forks for example all register 440.3 hertz on the tuner app. That, along with the hair trigger response of the tuner, always jumping around so that I find it difficult to read at all, even with tuning forks as a sound source, renders it useless to me. Therefore I cant recommend it.

Do not buy!

On top of the watch app being useless the phone app is equally disappointing. Wish I could get my money back

Not a Stand Alone Tuner.

Not a stand alone. If you have to open an app on the phone, what is the point? Just use an iPhone guitar tuner.

Not a stand alone

If you have to open an iPhone, what is the point of having it work on a watch? Ridiculous.
